Papa Joe Sets The Record Straight.
After several magazines blamed Joe Simpson, best known as Papa Joe, as the reason for the short-lived break-up of his daughter, Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend, Tony Romo, last month, Joe went to Extra to defend himself.
In the wake of Us Weekly’s cover story that Jessica Simpson’s controlling father was the main source behind her May split from Tony Romo, Joe Simpson tells “Extra” he’s not the controlling father he’s made out to be.
“The media says that I try to plan everything - If I had half of the power they give me…They [Ashlee and Jessica] don’t call me and ask me. They call me and tell me.”
He adds that Jessica “… is as happy as I’ve seen her in years.” and gushes about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, “He’s a great guy. I love Tony to death….He’s just a good kid….”
Us reports in the current issue that Joe asked Romo, 28, to let him help represent him. As tension grew, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback gave Jessica an ultimatum: Tell dad to back off!
Joe tells Extra that the public has many misconceptions about him as his daughters’ manager. “For all those people thinking I’m sipping Piña Coladas on the beach and enjoying millions of dollars and having this great life – Bull..I work seven days a week, 24/7.”
Simpson, who officiated daughter Ashlee’s wedding to Pete Wentz, says, “I love Pete to death…He has a patient spirit and a kind heart…I’m honored to have Pete as my son-in-law.”
Although Simpson tells “Extra” that the sex of Ashlee’s baby, which will be his first grandchild is unknown, “I would love to have a boy, but I know how to raise girls so I’m good with that.” (Source)
Tony Romo to Joe Simpson: “Back The F*ck Off.”
Looks like Tony Romo has had enough of Jessica Simpson’s overbearing dad, Joe.
Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are back ”on,” but a college pal of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback tells me it’s Romo who’s calling all the plays.
”He did agree to go to [sister Ashlee's] wedding — keeping his promise to Jessica,” Romo’s Eastern Illinois alum chum told me. ”But he made it super-clear that if they were to give it another go, her dad had to seriously back off.” (Source)

Dallas’ favorite couple Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were seen having dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in Dallas’ Victory Park on Saturday. The Dallas Morning News reports that they shared a corner booth for two, were the pair stopped to talk to Cowboys receiver, Isaiah Stanback , who was there dining with his parents.
The newspaper also reports that while Tony stopped to talk to another diner, Jessica played with their baby.
Basically what this means is that Tony better be careful that she isn’t putting holes in his condoms.
Ew, Jessica… That Looks Like Sanitations!
Jessica Simpson got sloppy with her man, Tony Romo, at the Suite Nightclub in Dallas for his 28th birthday last weekend.
Something tells me that the black guy behind Jessica would agree that someone needs to call the sanitations department over that shit.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were in the beautiful Dallas, Texas last night at the Dallas Maverick and LA Lake game, were Dallas barely lost 79-74. Jessica cheered on the Mavs, hopefully she knows thats who shes supposed to be cheering for! They make a hot couple and they’re super TEXALICIOUS!

Jessica Simpson was spotted at LAX this weekend with her beneficial footballer boyfriend Tony Romo. Jessica is due to hit the friendly skies later this week to go to Kuwait to “perform” for the troops.
Jessica Could Be Getting Dropped
Jessica Simpson could be kissing her so-called career as a musician bye-bye, if she doesn’t calm the fuck down with boyfriend, Tony Romo.
A source says, “These days the chief of Jess’ record label has had a hard time even getting her on the phone. Joe Galante, the head of Sony BMG Nashville, is furious and unless Jess straightens up fast, they’re considering cutting her loose. They’re tired of unreturned phone calls and unfulfilled promises.”
Jessica is what I like to call a “try girl.” She’s tried to be a housewife and failed. She’s tried to be a pop star and failed. She ’stried to be an actress and failed miserably. Now she’s not even allowing herself to try to be a country singer to fail.
The source then went on to say, “Jessica is totally consumed with chasing Tony, and she’s making it clear that it’s that most important thing to her-more important than reviving her sagging career.”
Poor Jess. She seems so dependent on men.

Romo’s A Big Tipper
Dallas’ own, Tony Romo, stopped at Joe Cotten’s BBQ, right outside of Corpus Christi, TX, on Friday for a quick lunch. Romo alledgedly left a $300 tip on a $15 meal.
Not with him was Jessica Simpson, who hasnt been pictured with him since the Cowboys lost. Papa Joe is probably casting for her next boyfriend.
